Financial security is important at any age, but your financial responsibilities can change and grow as you enter each new stage of life. The Earnings Guard™ plan ensures that you will be able to maintain your lifestyle in the event of an accident-related disability. With benefit amounts up to $5,000 per month, this plan is ideal for members who are concerned about fulfilling significant commitments such as a mortgage, car or college loans, or health care premiums. Benefits are available in as few as 30 days and last up to two years, so that you can focus on recovering from your injury without worrying about the financial security of your family.

Get up to $5,000 per month in coverage

Earnings Guard™ coverage helps replace your income if you suffer a disabling injury due to a covered accident and cannot work. The plan replaces up to 70% of your Basic Monthly Pay. The minimum benefit amount is $2,000 a month and the maximum is $5,000 a month.

Benefits begin after you have been Totally Disabled for a waiting period of 30, 60 or 90 days (depending on the plan option you choose) and are payable for up to two years as long as you are under the regular care of a physician and satisfy the plan’s definition of Total Disability.

For Residents of CA please note the following offset disclosure:

Insured's monthly pre-disability earnings:
$3,000.00
Long term disability benefits percentage

Unreduced maximum benefit

The example of disability offsets may be coupled with a disclaimer, which explains that the example is for purposes of illustrating the effect of the benefit reductions and is not intended to reflect the situation of a particular claimant under the policy.
